Love them or hate them, special effects applied to wedding photos will always be around. Some popular effects are shown below. There are subtle special effects such as selective soft focus, contrast and colour enhancements. Then there are more obvious effects such as BW mixed with colour. As professional photographers our policy is to capture an image in camera at 110% and to use as little photoshopping as possible. However we do make these techniques available to clients if required.
